Good afternoon. Since this afternoon MSFS won’t start anymore.
The screen that starts when you want to start the game just appears and indicates that the login was successful. After that it keeps saying “Synchronizing data”. Nothing else happens and MSFS does not start.
Is there a current outage at Microsoft that anyone knows about?
I can’t find anything about this anywhere else in the forum.
Hopefully someone can help with this.
Here are a few screenshots…

To clarify: I am using MSFS on windows 11 PC.
My internet connection is OK. I can still browse the internet, etc.
My last attempt to help you. Go to the Asset Management search for Gaming Servicies. This process must not have more than one process open at a time. For example, if you see something like this (2) you do terminate activity. Try again at the limit restart your PC.

Hello ClevererElm8055 The problem is solved!
I followed the advise of TheSevenflyer. He has send me a checklist. Windows update showed a failed security update. I reinstalled it. Then the PC had to be restarted. Then I tried to start FS2020 again.
And it works again!
I would never have come up with that without the checklist.
Thank you very much for your response.
I’m about to take off again.
