Hi everyone!
I just found out that SimHub now works with Microsoft Flight Simulator, which is super exciting! But the default effects are quite limited—no gear or flap feedback, turbulence, or dynamic effects.
I’ve tried tinkering with custom effects, using the “Edit” function and exploring NCALC or JavaScript, but I’m a bit lost.
Has anyone here successfully created custom effects that aren’t offered by default?
Tips or resources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
This a funny one.
I kept asking ChatGPT (mine calls herself Nova), and today I’ve got a set of awesome settings that I couldn’t have gotten in a million years. She did all the thinking and JavaScript code, I just kept asking for a better feeling.
So I have a nearly finished profile for the single prop engine planes for SimHub.

Heya! I’d love to try out your profile – I’ve got a BST-1 (x4) setup with the HF-8. I tried working on a profile with GPT too, but couldn’t get anything that really felt good. 
By the way, have you tried SimHaptics? Curious how it compares to SimHub in terms of feel.

And yes, I’m using SimHaptic as well. It was actually a recommendation from ChatGPT.
I’ve been using SimHaptic for years, but since Simhub recently became compatible with Flight Simulator — which it wasn’t before — I decided to give it another try. In the end, I settled on a combination of both SimHub and SimHaptic, like ChatGPT suggested.
So yeah, just tell me how you’d like to receive the profiles.

im also just now diving down this rabbit hole. I would definitely be interested in that profile and especailly any helo ones you have made. I would also put them on Flightsim.to as that was the first place i looked. does installing these overwrite anything?
I’m interested. I just got my modded P3 up and running. I was using SRS, but I got a Razer haptic pad, so I switched to Simhub. Now I’m out searching for a good starting off point to set up Cessna 172 and Bell 206 profiles
Any updates on this? Wheres that profile?
Maybe he’s taking a little extra time to perfect it for us.

Hi all,
Some time ago a few of you asked me to share my SimHub profile. I hadn’t forgotten, just busy, so here it is at last.
2 amps / 4 channels
1.Chair → Ch.1: shaker under the seat (butt). Ch.2: shaker high on the seat back (neck).
2.Table → Ch.1: shaker under my IKEA desk (shakes yoke, throttle, quadrant, sticks). Ch.2: shaker mounted on Thrustmaster pendular pedals.
Amplifiers run at ~75% (not full, or they overheat). Adjust shake strength inside SimHub/SimHaptic, not on the amp knobs.
SimHaptic: airflow, brakes, door open/close, parking brake, turbulence. (These were quicker for me to set up there.)

SimHub: everything else, tuned for immersion without exaggeration.
Profile tuned for the Cessna 172. Works surprisingly well with other aircraft too, though you may need tweaks.
I’ll share my H125 helicopter version later once I refine it.
When you load my profile, SimHub might warn that channels/devices don’t match your system. Just re-map them to your own setup.
Use this as a baseline. My hope is others with more time will improve it further and maybe replicate the SimHaptic-only effects directly in SimHub.

i’m totaly new to simhub just installed it for my MSF2024 setup with razer freya and imported your profile
i can import it, and when testing the effects in the profile everything works perfect!
unfortunatelly i can not edit the profile settings (i.e. changing the suited aircraft, clone (does nothing) or export/Import the proifle (export works, import fails) Also my connected razer defice shows red after activating the profile (even it seems to work), when using the default profile it stays green What i’m doing wrong?! Can you help me out or send me the profile without write protection?

This sounds to me like a software issue.
I’m no expert in SimHub, but I can tell you my profile is not locked. I wouldn’t even know how to do such thing.
Perhaps you could get some answers on their Discord server?
