Help please - AP GPS/NAV not following flight plan

Have used AP and GPS/NAV successfully in the past but now I can’t get any aircraft to follow my flight plan. Using same steps I’ve always used and tried in DC-6, DA62 and G36 but no joy! Am I missing something or did something change and get porked?

My current Steps (DA62 as an example):

Create IFR (low altitude) flight plan in World Map
Enter cockpit, turn on Garmin and insure flight plan loaded
Press (v) to insure flight plan showing in map
After take off insure CDI shows GPS (it also says TERM and SUSP - why?) in pinkish/purplish color
Press AP
Press ALT and enter altitude
Press VS and enter climb rate
Press NAV to follow flight plan…and NOTHING happens!! Just follows current heading.

What am I missing? Any help is appreciated!!

So there is no issue within the game? I’ll do it again with what you said above however I don’t think that is the issue as I have flown AP GPS/NAV for months without issue. No idea why its not working now.
I’ll try and report back.

It’s called CDI and they stated it’s on GPS:

Never seen that on the stock G1000. Do you use the G1000 NXi addon or any other mod?

When opening the FPN page, is the correct leg (the first one) highlighted?
Does it happen if you set an IFR route without any waypoints, just a direct Orig-Dest?

Posting a screenshot of the PFD and MFD (preferably with the FPN page open) might help a lot since you don’t tell all the details that are shown.
