I have been working on making my first PBR textured Control tower, but i keep getting a strange dark shadow on one side of the control tower, even though the sun shines on that side. It almost seems like this shadow should be on the side away from the sun, not the side facing the sun ( within FS2020)
The object looks normal in Blender from all sides.
I tried brightening the Albedo file, and even the roughness, ambient occlusion files, and i think i have them within the right slots in blender but I still have this problem.
First Question :
Regarding the composite file/ texture , the AO file is in the R channel , Roughness is in the Green Channel , but there is no metallic file, only a height file.
Does the 'Height ’ texture file go in the B (Blue channel) or do i just make the composite with the R (AO), G (Roughness file) only, and Blue channel empty ?
Second Question : Am i doing something wrong in the Blender2MSFS texture options ? I have my screenshots below, and just cant figure why i have this awful dark side to my control tower.
I’ve been stuck on this for weeks and would really appreciate some help!!
