Help with Improving Performance

Please help,

Today i got the bright idea to turn on dev mode and the FPS window, since i suffered quite some time already with some heavy stutters and crackling audio sounds that made my trusty old PMDG 738 almost unplayable.
So i decided to enter the beta in hope for better results. Long story short… no improvements.
Thats why I have my hope on you guys now.
Can you please help me increase my FPS from 8-15 to a minimum of 20+?
I know my system specs are far from optimal but this is just the way it is for me now.

Thanks in advance for any usefull tips, tricks or settings (I have set everything on standard in game medium. Low settings gave hardly any improvements and high settings makes it even worse)
My laptop has:
i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz
32,0 GB
RTX2080 super with max Q

Dropping screenshots of your graphics settings would be helpful. There is also I think a dedicated performance thread somewhere on the forum where you could post all that info and see what other’s suggest. Since you’re main thread limited by quite a wide margin, your best best is turning down LOD’s (Terrain LOD and Object LOD) and see what that does. You could also turn off all flora, fauna, ship traffic, road traffic… Most of the other settings are more graphics intensive, and you have margin there based on your screenshot.
