Just one other thing. Pay attention to your manual’s advice on security e.g. Secureboot and Bitlocker, if you use them you may want to back up a key beforehand.

Not seen any mention of them ?

If you have them enabled (I don’t) I’m not sure they stick when you update the bios so make a copy of the keys before doing so or you may find yourself locked out of Windows. Either a usb backup or even just a photo on your cellphone (or both).

Ok thanks

pretty certain they are off but will check

Welcome the world of bleeding edge.
This is a microsoft operating system problem. It tries to look for a driver but cannot find one that is whql certified so it puts a unknown etc. Put in the latest R.O.G. chipset drivers. You can extract the downloaded drivers and force the inf for the chipset and it should work. If you don’t know how to do this, wait for a windows update that will address the issue (this could be months).
One question for you. Why would you enable the CPU graphic option when you have a discreet GPU?

and as exact this reason, the mainboard manufactor offers the correct whql drivers for the chipsets , etc which users have to download and install. Thats since day one of microsoft windows and other OS so : no driver, no working device.

The windows update page knows in most cases lots of hardware and can install this. Often is also a generic driver installed, but the specific drivers can offers some additional features or performance.

Thus, its mainly not like a “This is a microsoft operating system problem.”

I’m running triple 1440’s for my main display, a smaller one for my online logbook etc, the integrated graphics is running two 1080p touch panels for airmanager
