Help with Xbox App

The Internet searches, being what they are now, haven’t borne fruit.

I’m hoping someone here can provide some assistance.

In the gods, apparent, quest to completely drive me away from flight simming, MSFS wouldn’t launch, at all, today. Just click the icon and nothing.

I launched the Xbox App to see what gives and it’s stuck on “Updating…” at 0%.

I repaired the app, reset the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and repaired MS Store. Nothing is working to solve this issue. I noted that Xbox Gaming Services was “Modified minutes ago” according to the Store.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, I uninstalled every Xbox-related item on the PC and reinstalled the app. That got it past the hung updating process.

Hope this helps another soul in the future.

The question is…how many four letter words did it take to complete the process?

Zero. I’m trying to work on my language, which is atrocious.

I’m thankful this forum has trained me to express myself in more “high-elf” ways.
