I was wondering why I’m flying around with a couple of yokes on-screen (pilot & copilot, DHC-4) when we both have physical yokes right in front of us.
Unfortunately, there’s no key bind to toggle yoke visibility, so you have to hunt around for the click spots to hide each yoke individually.
The cockpit view is MUCH improved, without the on-screen yokes blocking the instruments.
Took off at night from CYUL, it’s surprising how much less janky and cleaner the cockpit is.
Probably picked up a few FPS since there’s less work drawing the yokes.

This is going to be my default from now on. Good luck.
As I was bumbling around on the keyboard looking for the place to hide the yoke, something quickly flashed a message about hiding the yoke and then it was gone. I can’t find a key bind for it either. Without this a lot of planes are pretty hard to fly as controls or FMC are at least partially hidden by the yoke.
I’m wondering if Axis and Ohs would work. Just have to find the time to install it and learn it, unless someone else can confirm it will, so I would buy it.
Since the beginning of FS2020, hiding the yokes is the very first thing I do when in the cockpit of any airplane. You’d think invisible yoke would be the default. Or at least that there would be a consistent place on every control panel and an obvious keybind / Xbox button.
Put it on the wishlist or vote if already there.
