High CPU Usage / Better Performance

Hi All,

I’m trying to get the most out of my set up. I do get good FPS with the settings attached, however I note that my CPU tends to run a bit unstable.

With the new Fenix A320, it seems to run at about 66% sometimes surging into the 90’s and I’ve seen it touch a 100% too a few times.
I have checked my GPU usage at the same time, and notice that is getting about 80% utilisation.

With other addons, it tends to run at about 40-50%, but does surge into the 80% again.

My build:
Intel i7-6700k @4.00 GHZ
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080TI
16GB ram

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

You may want to lower your terrain LOD to 100 or 90. I don’t think that CPU could handle 150.
4c 8t CPU is going to struggle with that addon.

What do you mean cpu unstable, is it causing issues with msfs or just that your not seeing full utilization?

I’ll try lowering down to 100/90 and see if that makes a difference.

CPU unstable - as in, it doesn’t tend to be running at a constant utilisation, it tends to be surging on and off?
