First thing, PC Spec:
CPU: Ryzen 9 7900x
GPU: MSI Ventus 4090
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME x670p wifi
Ram: 64gb DDR5 5200mhz ( 2x32gb)
PSU: 1000w
MSI CPU Watercooler
Monitor: LG 27" 4k 144hz
Maybe it’s just me and i’m expecting more, but attached images of FPS and settings.
(FBW320,FBW380,320v2) nothing running in background except REX Accu seasons, clear skies, EGLL and i don’t think those FPS are good considering specs? and that’s before i start things like beyond atc, fstl traffic , flightcontrolreply ect. Does anything look off to you guys? also my 1tb is nearly full (31gb left).
I’m not entirely sure what FPS should be expected with your Hardware and if this is normal or toot low.
That said, don’t expect high FPS with MSFS 2020. The game relies heavily on one single CPU core and therefore hits the main thread limit rather quickly even with the best processors. And as already mentioned a full SSD can cause issues too.
More complex planes and scenery are more taxing on the CPU and will just decrease FPS further. Try a Cessna 172 high a over the ocean. You will see higher FPS than with an airliner at Charles de Gaulle airport for example.
And there isn’t much you can do about it. OC on the CPU and RAM may bring improvements but with a 4090 you will always be CPU limited.
Oh and the A380 is in an unoptimized alpha right now, it’s performance is bad for (almost) everyone.
