High-Tension Towers appearing Randomly 1.39.2

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Multiple instances of high-tension power towers scattered in all directions. Checked 3 locations- downtown Phoenix, near KATL in suburban Atlanta and near KMLB off the approach end of 27L. The towers appear in all directions and are sometimes grouped together in large clusters.

ICAO, coordinates, or specific location: Phoenix, AZ, near KATL in suburban Atlanta, GA and near KMLB in Melbourne, FL.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Community is empty for the beta testing.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
I rebooted x3 and still present.

• Yes, and I just found another instance of it in Continental, AZ, south of Tucson.

• No extra information to add, just a bunch of HV electrical transmission towers where there shouldn’t be any.

I think it is “new feature” for 2020 ported from 2024 with wrong models. They should be standard pole, instead of high voltage tower.

In case it helps, I found another location where these are appearing. It’s just off the Great Western Highway in Lawson, NSW Australia. I looked up the spot on Bing maps, and there does appear to be a power-station-like structure there. At most it should hold 3-4 towers, but in FS it’s showing an overgrown cluster of them.

I´m a bit confused as of why this topic is tagged a “solved”. The bug has been logged, that´s all. No solution (or workaround) has been released… Am I misunderstanding something here?

I can confirm the towers also appear in San Francisco, LA and Miami. Also, in these places the PG looks very bad and low quality.

Edit: The weird thing; some parts of these cities look fine, other parts have the strange artifacts, towers and bad PG.
