Hello all,
I am using SpaceDesk to use a couple of tablets as secondary monitors. That works like a charm with the Popout Panel Manager… except when it comes to the HJet
I set up the Popout Panel Manager so that it pops out the MFD (center screen) to one of the tablets but all I am getting there is a weird amalgamation of standby screens, not at all what they should be displaying.
Anyone able to clarify what is going on here and how to fix it, it would be much apprechiated.
Personal Comments and Observations
Recommend you ask on the FlightFX Discord, in the HJet channels. You’ll get real-time help and feedback there.
(Disclaimer: I am a FlightFX Beta Tester).
Very early on in the jet’s development, I read that they were using the stock screens, but adding their own screens layered on top of the default so that it looked like the base code was modified without having to actually modify anything. My guess is what you’re seeing on the popout is the base code bottom layer.
Oh, I was not aware of this, thank you !
Appreciate the redirect from @CasualClick but for OP… this can happen if your click spot for popping out the panel is too close to the bezel edge in the virtual cockpit. Try moving the click spot to be dead centre on the MDF screen in the cockpit.
Also: this problem will go away with the next HJet update which is currently expected to be released tomorrow.
Ohhhhh, most excellent - thank you for that information !
Oh, and the update is out now, so grab it and this problem should go away.
I can confirm that. Thank you so much for the help !
