Hobbs meter fractions of an hour dials are nonfunctional in the C408

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The Hobbs meter is nonfunctional, it fails to register any time in the aircraft. I started the flight timer in the G1000, it shows 14 minutes. The Hobbs meter shows zero.

Cessna 408 SkyCourier

  2. Observe the Hobbs meter remain on Zero hours and minutes.

• My Hobbs meter is showing six hours:

Which almost matches the flight times recorded in LittleNavMap (5hrs 50 minutes):

It may be that the 1/10 & 1/100th cylinders (in white) are non-functional - I’d need to fly an additional 1/2 hr or so to see if those dials rotated.

My flight was 50 minutes, the Volanta screenshot below captured that flight. The previous photo included the built-in timer to indicate the flight was ongoing and I wasn’t sitting in parking.

I’d suggest flying a few more hours in the aircraft & seeing if the time roughly matches your accumulated time in Volanta.

Title updated. It appears only the 1/10 & 1/100th cylinders (in white) are non-functional. The Full Hour cylinder will rotate to mark the completion of full hours.

Might be worth mentioning that this is the incorrect Hobbs meter. The actual aircraft uses a traditional 1/10 hour gauge.
