ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
I hovered at landing with the helicopter over the runway to get to the hold short and if i was close to reach it, it moved and said it is now in 3440 miles away. How should i reach it with the helicopter? and also it wouldnt be the airport where i have to arrive in career mode.

no addons active and yes still the same issue.

I had this exact problem as well many times, way too many.

Not to mention the re-calculation totally tanks my PC, since it tries to draw infinite number of navigation points I guess.
I found out that once it finally decides to work and be flyable again, you need to hover really close above the ground, or even land on the runway fully, and the hold short point gets recalculated back to where it’s supposed to be.

Description of the issue:

HOLD SHORT position is 5000nm+ away from WMSA after landing?

This problem is 100% replica.

And this mission even cause a game crash ( Which I had already reported with other sign) at the first uncomplete.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

100%, if you do this mission, it will fail every time. I ve done this mission twice.

3. Land at WMSA and slow down till HOLD SHORT BAR show

I have had this a couple of times, not super common for me so I suspect it’s something to do with the destination airport. This is the only screenshot I can find (I posted it in the Bugs, Fails and Laughs channel).

In my case, it stuttered a little as described. I decided to see if I could trigger the ‘taxiway without announcement’ and mission-step skip that occurs with it to complete, and while doing this the hold point actually recalculated correctly at the destination airport.

I’ll see if I can find the original screenshot not the crop when I get home, but there is definitely an intermittent bug here

• Almost: I encountered this issue several times but at origin airport, causing massing FPS drops upon asking for taxi (certainly due to “calculating a huge amount of waypoints”). Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

• My issue appears to be linked to specific locations: airports that present this issue always present this issue. On the contrary, other airports never do.

• As a result of pointed difference (origin vs destination airport), unsure if this is the same bug, but surely at least related in some way

• Misplaced hold points (in my case) are always located at 3’400 NM, which is roughly Earth’s radius, I suspect that some airports have bugged/missing hold points so they default to the center of the world map.
