Here is my before and after comparison for Orbx Hollywood Burbank Airport V2, interested to know if anyone has upgraded from V1 to this version as I may do a comparison video for them in the future. It is not a new scenery I understand but thought I’d do a video for it.

Subtle but great changes.
This is a bit misleading (but I’m not implying it’s intentional). The default buildings shown in most of the “before” images in this video occurred due to some kind of problem that occurred when V2 was first released. A few days after the initial release, V2 was repaired, and subsequent downloads were much better. An example is from :24 to :45.
A better comparison would be to compare the old V1 version with the new V2 version.
I just purchased v2 a few days ago – do you notice it has bad performance? Mine seems to be very stuttery at KBUR.
Definitely wasn’t trying to be misleading, I was comparing the default scenery with V2, that said you are very much correct. I should have included 3 versions, default, V1 and V2.
My intention is always to show a true comparison between what the sim gives user in default compared to what a payware or freeware offers.

While filming the scenes for the video it did get choppy in some places, using the drone camera sometimes gives me worse stutters in places as I’m flying it about much faster and sharper than say taxing or taking off.
It all depends what system you are using I guess but this sim is known for it’s user by user performance, I’ve seen people with lower spec systems than mine get better results etc.
yes, for sure. I have a brand new computer (i9-12900k, 32gb DDR5 RAM, 3080 Ti) and that scenery causes problems when the majority do not. Hopefully they’ll identify the issue.
Your system is better spec than mine so naturally you should be getting good performance within this scenery, I feel there are stutters in places that shouldn’t be and in less detailed areas its choppy.
It might be worth checking some YouTube videos on stutters, some great vids out there that explain what settings are best but also some other things like disabling all windows startup apps you don’t need which apparently helps.
