Honda Jet broken since last patch

Hey all.

Has anyone else had an issue with the HJet since the most recent MSFS patch? It was working perfectly fine before, but I now have the following bug:

I set everything up in the World Map menu for my flight and once it loads to the plane on the runway, the fuel level goes to 0% and the plane shuts down. Fuel pump failure lights show up on my displays and the plane acts like it’s empty. I can’t fly it at all.

I’m on XBOX Series X and have never had trouble with the plane before. I’ve tried to look for updates from FlightFX but have seen nothing.

I fly the 3rd Party (Marwan Garib) Hjet, and haven’t had any issues. I realize you can’t access that mod. Just sharing my experience.

That is the only HJet available in the sim. It’s on the Marketplace and available for Xbox as well as PC, and then directly for PC from various resellers.

@Funkaf1ed I haven’t flown the HJet since .19 came out, so I can’t compare notes with you, but if this is a repeatable issue then I would report it over at the FlightFX Discord. They are pretty helpful usually.

Are you saying the FlightFX and Marwan Garib Hjets are one in the same?

I did not know that.

Yes. FlightFX is the distributor, Marwan is the developer.

If you rummage around in your Official folder, you’ll find its folder name: ffx-hjet.

Hmmmm…

I’m not at my sim, but if memory serves, I bought it on flightsim.to and put in my Addons_Linker folder. The creator was listed as Marwan Garib. Hence the question that FlyerOneZero answered.

It must be available on both flightsim.to and on the Marketplace. Not unusual these days. Like I said, I’m pretty sure mine is in my Addons_Linker folder, not the Official folder.

I’ll look at it when I get home tonight.

This had me puzzled.

The folder is indeed named ffx-hjet. It’s in my Addons_Linker folder because I downloaded it from flightsim.to. The creator there is listed as Marwan Garib.

I took the ‘Official’ comment to mean it was a different plane (which it isn’t,) developed by FlightFX, available on the Marketplace (which it is.)

It’s the same plane. I was just confused. Nothing to see here. Move along…Move along… :rofl:

That’s interesting. I wonder what would happen if I moved mine to the Community folder? Just out of curiosity, like. Gotta try that.

May work. I had tried with a version of a310 and pmdg dc6 which I bought in marketplace. But i didn’t test them exhaustively. So they may cause issues that i may have escaped.

The FFX HJet was also sold outside of the Marketplace through independent stores prior to Marwan being represented, hence users may have valid copies installed outside of Official Folders.

This may be a reset of your control mappings, which can occur post-Sim Update. FlightFX offers customer support through our Discord Ticketing System, specifically the hjet-support channel. Please open a ticket there and staff will respond. Thanks.

Edit: The following was related to a livery I got from Flightsim.to it seems. The other liveries + default seem OK

I got my H-Jet a few months ago from the Marketplace and since the latest update of MSFS (not sure though), I noticed that there is no engine sound or any other cockpit sound as far as I noticed. All quiet except ATC.

I uninstalled and reinstalled through the content manager the H-Jet but still the same issue.

My headphone settings in the sound menu are off by the way and all other aircraft I have and I have tested (default or addons) the engine and cockpit sound is working Ok.
