I just got a set of Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo controls for my living room VR setup.
I have started to configure them and spent many hours trying to get the setup right for a 747, and still have not really got all of the autopilot controls working for example, nor the thrust reversers to my satisfaction. Many YouTube tutorials are quite good, but show different ways to get certain buttons / thrust reversers etc working, none being ‘perfect’ in my view. I notice many lights on the Bravo do not light up when I expect them to, and I’m particularly frustrated at the inability to control heading hold followed by then press heading select via a button to set the chosen heading. I still seem to need to use the mouse to click heading select, to then turn out the HDG light.
Before I spend another few days at it per plane type, is there any existing / exported configurations people have shared somewhere, that can be imported. I guess I would be looking for the latest and greatest setups with the best thinking from the various experts / youtube tutorials for the different types of configurations like commercial / general aviation of various types. Itd be such a cool thing to haver stored somewhere, eg github, containing a changelog and the latest and greatest of everyones thinking.
I would hope msfs can incorporate good defaults for these for some of the popular devices such as the Honeycomb ones but if anyone is aware of anything like this I would be so happy.
