Honeycomb Bravo. Anybody get lights working in 2024

I put the AFC_Bridge in the 2024 community folder located on C: (not a GREAT PLACE for the community folder MSFS) and edited the .exe.html to point to the community folder for 2024 but it’s not …working. Any help would great.

My annunciator lights are working using Spad.NEXT with latest version and LVAR Bridge. I setup all my controls in this just to avoid the nightmare that is FS2024 controller configuration.

was there a setting in spad to use because mine is not working. I installed the bridge to the community folder on C: have updated spad. Just wondering if I need to set something else.

I did not install anything to FS2024’s community folder. My understanding was that Spad handles this through its own Bridge. You do need to setup the Bravo profile in Spad for it to work. I used the online snippets for each annunciator and they worked right away.

Trying to do the same, Just Download Spad but new to it all seems like its communicating okay, but can use some help getting started, looks like I got a few videos to watch, the profiles search not showing anything. Is there a profile I can use to get the Bravo lights working for now? I like to get something working so then I can experiment and learn deeper I got a blank slate here. :frowning:

Got in the discord also trying to get my head around it.

Yep, I just mapped all my Bravo lights in my new Optica profile using online snippets. Easy. I’m grateful to those SPAD users who did the work for me.

Is there a way to get the lights working without the use of SPAD Next?

I got an email back from Honeycomb, there going to make one. SPAD is a good option for now.

Same question.

Ah, thanks for that.

I find it shameful that you spend a lot of money on hardware and the manufacturer and/or seller in Germany is not able to provide software to make the hardware work. No matter how nice the hardware looks, it should work. Without good PC knowledge and tinkering around, the LEDs and displays cannot be made to work. Neither in FlightSim 2020 and certainly not in 2024… Sad. I’ll probably have to send it back and continue using my Velocity One FlightDeck instead.

Got a similar reply today from Aerosoft Customer Support: “The driver is currently in development and will be available I the upcoming weeks”

The Bravo lights work in MSFS2020 when you install the software from Aerosoft/Honeycomb. There is no tinkering around needed. I installed the driver/software and the lights worked.

And for MSFS2024 they need to develop or update their software. For this they need a working simulator

Hi all,

I have the latest version of Spad.Next and the LVAR Bridge v5 but i’m still not seeing my Bravo Lights.

Is there something I need to do in Spad.Next to enable the lights?

Thanks

Thanks, I found it a little later on. Doesn’t work for everybody though. Thanks for the heads up.
