Now if I could just find a place to order one! Even if it’s not in stock, I’m gonna have to wait, and I know that and I’m okay with it, but I’d like to at least get in line somewhere so that when it gets here, it gets here.

It works perfectly!

Put one on backorder somewhere. Some retailers may even have them in stock.

That’s what I want to do! So far, I’ve been unsuccessful at finding anyone who is even taking backorders.

What about those that have the item in stock?

I haven’t found any of those either. But if you know of one please let me know, I’ll have it on order within 30 seconds. BUT… I don’t pay scalper prices, MSRP from a reputable source only!

Well, hang on a minute. All of a sudden several etailers are taking pre-orders. Trying to find one actually in stock, but if I can’t in the next half hour or so, I’ll pick one and pre-order it. Sometimes waking up at 0530 has it’s advantages.

OK, order placed with Sporty’s. It’s been a long time since I’ve done business with them, but I know and trust them, so they got the order despite a shop I don’t know being $7 cheaper. It’s worth the $7 to me.

They’re saying early February, but I’ll keep my eye on it, and if someone trustworthy pops up with actual in stock inventory sooner, I’ll cancel my pre-order and get it from them.

Thanks for kicking me in the ■■■ and providing the motivation to really dig into it at this early hour!!

No problem.

Is that the Saitek com/nav panel above your bravo? How do you like it?

Yes it is. I really like it and it works perfectly on all aircraft. The A320 radio panel frequency numbers in the cockpit do not change, but it still changes the frequency so I don’t bother looking at that. Very useful for Vatsim flights. I love tuning in VORs and then switching to the DME and see the miles click off toward my destination. Transponder codes can be dialed in as well. The build quality is decent- it’s a little light and plastic, but it works. The knobs have a decent feel. I saw a post where someone replaced the stock silver knobs with black aircraft style ones, maybe some day. You can use the included screws to mount to the Bravo, but it sticks out a few millimeters and I wanted it to be flush. The radio comes with 3M velcro so I used that to stick on top of my Bravo and the top part of the radio just touches the top of my desk. It wobbles a bit so for now I use tape to keep the radio from moving…I have to figure out a permanent mounting solution for that but I want to keep it “customizable” for now before drilling…

Thank you for the assessment. I’ve been pondering the radios as a next purchase for that same reason, Online ATC. Ordered my Bravo about 6 weeks ago from B&H…tick tock tick tock..

What are you gonna do with all of that when you decide to go with VR?

I’ve got the Bravo on order now, and my disability prohibits the use of a yoke because I can’t use pedals and need the twist rudder, but I’m learning to use my existing Thrustmaster T.16000m by hand like a blind person. I can always life up my goggles, but somehow that feels a bit like cheating lol…

But if I can use the Bravo’s dial to increase and decrease altitudes when I’m flying in the Flight Levels, that’ll be absurdly helpful. As it is I just use my mouse and wait for it to click up for about 2.5 days or so…

I’m very happy with my 55inch OLED. At some point I’m sure I’ll try VR.

Once you do you’ll be like “55inch OLED? I have one of those??”
