Honeycomb bravo throttle, delayed again for me

First issue, have anyone actually got one yet. If so you are lucky and how is it.

Second issue, when are the rest of us going to get one.

When I originally ordered mine on 9/9/20 by the largest nordic electronics webstore that specialises in PC and gaming peripherals, they wrote a delivery time of 7 October. Well I really didn’t believe that given that the first production was scheduled late October. Then delivery was changed to 23 December. Thought nice Christmas present. Now it have been rescheduled to 3 February 2021.

I know that none of you can change this, but I just want to find out if there are anyone else that have similar experiences, or have I just picked a particular bad retailer.

Mine still says 9th Dec on amazon.co.uk mate…for now.

Out of curiosity, when did you order, and have that been the schedule all along?

Originally 23rd Oct then 7th Nov…I asked and they said the other dates are still legit but because i ordered quite late on my order has been put back to allow further deliveries. I ordered late afternoon on the 23rd Oct…

Edit…sorry that don’t make sense…I ordered 23rd for 7th Nov but pushed back to the 9th Dec

Could imagine that a reseller like Amazon carry some weight. Good for you!

Too early to say yet, I’ll keep you informed…lots of great reviews on youtube for the throttle mate, NDA was lifted today.

I orderd mine through Amazon UK as well back at the begining of August, date has moved a few times and is currently set at 9th December. Time will tell if its accurate or not, i’m just hoping its not just a speculative listing on Amazons part and they actually have some expectation of getting some units

Bravo Throttle Quadrant Production Update:
Unfortunately, we received news from our factory today letting us know of a minor issue in production. The issue has been addressed and rectified. However, that did cause a delay in the schedule.
With that being said, our updated production schedule has Week 1 production completed on November 23rd 2020. All other production weeks will follow suit. We will be providing a shipping schedule as soon as all information has been reconfirmed.
All pre-orders made on our website will be shipped directly from our Hong Kong Office to ensure you receive the Bravo as quickly as possible. Typical shipping time is 3-7 days depending on the region.
For any customers who have placed pre-orders, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions with regards to your order.
We will follow up later this week to keep everyone notified and informed. Once again, we sincerely apologize for this delay. Our main priority is always to ensure that we deliver a product we are proud of.

Thank you for the update. I ordered mine on 9-2-2020 from HC direct from the website. So assuming late November maybe. I would rather have a quality product ready out of the box, than have problems with it. Please make sure and take time for it to shine like sun.

Hi, looks like I ordered mine direct as well on September 2 also. I can’t recall, was that week 1 or later?

Could this have anything to do with the fact that they have not finished the drivers and that the unit is not 100% functional in MSFS2020 yet?

How exactly will they “deliver a product we are proud of” if the unit has limited functionality?

Just sayin’

[Ordered mine direct from Honeycomb .004 seconds after the “Coming Soon” button went live  ]

Pretty sad they give these lame you tubers all these products first for free and the paying customers well they gotta wait . Pathetic!

Ordered mine August 6th. Still says “Submitted” for order status, late fall expected delivery, and no other dates/updates. :smirk:

Been looking into this too and everywhere I look has 27/11/2020 as the launch date.

All the reviews I have seen say the drivers are not ready but coming. I aint going to sweat it. It will get here when it gets here, and not until. The drivers are going to be ready when they are ready, not before. Complaining, is not being constructive or helpful. Everyone expected MSFS to be top of the line, ready to go, world quality planes, how has that worked out for you? I rest my case.

Honeycomb has stated that retailers will start to receive their units four weeks after the first preorders ship.

Also on the last dev video, Asobo said Bravo support is coming in an upcoming patch. I think they said #6.

And hopefully by patch 14 they actually have it working properly!

On early test videos the throttles, gear, and flaps seem to be working correctly.

I have not seen anyone yet using switches or the anuncenator panel.

Thank you very much. Did not think to look at their website.
I would rather have it later working than early with a bug (lol). Sending out mechanical patches from China could be troublesome. Luckily the Chinese New year falls late on 21 mid February, but I hope that mine are not so late that this impacts me.
Must be frustrating for Honeycomb that they are late with their products in relation to the sim launch, and also to look at all the orders flowing in, not being able to meet the demand.

Just ordered mine through a retailer - hopefully with the delay they’ll still be able to meet the launch date.
