Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant arrived today, need to configure settings out of box

Thanks… I also went through this thread again and watched some of Rmag’s videos on YT which helped a lot.

I’m going to try FSTools and see how that works.

This might be a good place to ask these questions about the mapping regime that Asobo have designed…(in the absence of any meaningful documentation from the Devs or publisher.)

  1. There are 2 cell columns where you can bind an axis function. These appear to have functional differences. (Bind to right column and it appears to split the axis output?)

What would this be useful for? How best to leverage this functionality.

  1. There are 2 axis TYPES that you can bind (for throttle control)
“Throttle Axis” and “Throttle Axis 0-100%”
These are also functionally different from one another with a similar inhibit throttle range effect.

How best to leverage this functionality?

I am assuming that various combinations of these might allow for reverse thrust type functions but in experiments so far the options which split +50% / -50% result in far too little travel of my throttle lever in the positive range and much more than needed in the negative range. A 75/25 split or less would be better…

I’ve got an active ticket open with Zendesk support but they are about as much use as a chocolate teapot to be fair - I don’t think they have any background in flight simulation and after a month of asking them the same questions and asking whether there is any documentation and getting utter nonsense responses I’m about to give up on them. (and it doesn’t appear that there is any documentation.)

ummm what are you smoking, you say
-Select mixture/propeller/throttle 1,2,3,4 axis

where how why?

This worked for me thanks for the advice.
