I was having the issue myself with my Honeycomb Bravo. I was in Develepor mode just before and was looking at the package inspector when I noticed it said Invalid Package for AST_Bridge.

I moved it out of the Community Folder completely to my Flight Simulator 2024 folder which sits on my i drive, then I opened the exe.xml and adjusted it to reflect that,
I:\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\AFC_Bridge\bin\AFC_Bridge.exe
I then fired up MSFS 2024 and had my taskmanager open. Low and behold it worked the Honeycomb_Bridge_Module loaded and stayed loaded.
It will however disappear if the Honeycomb Bravo is not plugged in.

So just move the AST_bridge folder out of the Community Folder and change your exe.xml to the new location. It can be on any drive you like. FS2024 just doesnt like it in the Community Folder as its not a package. This will also work for 2020 as well.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the lights will be on at the Main Screen with this. So you dont have to wait until you load in and turn the battery on.
