I mounted my Honeycomb Yoke and Throttle under the desktop to free space above. The cost for the mount was about 6 US Dollars.
That is cool. I was thinking of doing that myself but my keyboard tray is under it. How and where did you get the hardware?
4 pcs of Hole plate 1,5x60x160mm plus screws
Make sure that the distance between the holes in the middle row is 40 mm to fit screw holes on top of the Yoke and Throttle. I used the 2 left-most and right-most holes on the Yoke and Throttle to fasten the hole plates. I then fasten the hole plates with the Yoke and Throttle using screws in the five holes at the end of the hole plates to have a secure mount to the desktop bottom. The existing clamps can be used instead of screwing the hole plate to the desktop bottom.
I bought the hole plates at my local Bauhaus hardware store.
A very cheap and stable mount that is easy to install.
You know another thing you can do is to find a couple of sturdy little tables, I have 2 that sit aprx 24"
seems to be just the right height for the joystick and the throttle. And this way I can move the stuff around say if I switch from something to a center stick throttle on right or left.
Both ideas are good. I have a small adjustable rolling table. That would give me more distance from my monitor.
Thank you
LOL yes but it rolls ;p you might want to take the wheels off of it. I have a table I bought at walmart for 12 dollars they called it a laptop computer stand … it was okay for awhile but its already starting to get wobbly. I think Im gonna take some 100 mpg tape and a hack saw to it and do some customizing see I cant narrow it up and sturdy it up a bit… ;p
