Honeycomb Yoke - Drivers

Following the link provided in the manual, I went to their site to see if I could find the latest drivers . The link re-directed me to a generic download page but none of the download links work. If I right click the link to download I get a Security" error. Anyway… Why I was looking for driver updates is because neither the left nor the right toggle switches work. While they appear to be setup for trim/rudder trim they do nothing.
I check the yoke in Windows control panel and sure enough, neither switch works either.

What am I missing here? How do I get these switches to work?

Info from readme.txt file

For the new MSFS, you don’t need a configuration tool and you only need this software to light up the LEDs,
the rest can be made inside the Simulator. As soon as we can access more functions inside the new Simulator, we will give them to you.

Same problem. Error: ****.zip cant be downloaded Securely. Chrome blocked the download

UPDATE: I did finally figure out how to download this file but did not solve my problem. After the install I tried to run the app but my virus sw said it was a Trojan horse. The app itself crashed. When I read the “readme” file it says that this new version of MSFS does not need/use this file.

There are no drivers for either the Alpha or Bravo. There is a download to fix the LED issue on the Bravo and that is available HERE. However this will do nothing to fix the problem you’ve described above. BTW which Toggle Switches are you referring to? The lights or the Master Alt, Avionics BUS2?

Judging by the reference to trim I assume OP is referring to the vertical (left) and horizontal (right) rocker switch pairs, not the toggle switches.

For me, I just made sure they were bound to the functions I wanted and they worked. Left rocker switches control view cycling and elevator trim, right rocker switches control aileron and rudder trim (rarely used on the small GA planes I fly)

I think the default is for both pairs of rocker switches on each side to control the same trim – that is, the vertical rocker switches control elevator trim, and the horizontal ones control rudder trim. You can change this all you like in the control bindings.

Note it’s possible they were configured such that you must use both halves of the pairs together? I seem to recall something like this. So eg on the vertical switches, you must press both the left side and the right side at once either up or down. But this is vague memory; check the actual bindings in the settings.

You are correct. These buttons are assigned within MSFS but do nothing. In fact if I clear these values (buttons 5 -11) I cant re-add them by pressing any of these buttons because nothing happens. If I go into Wndows 10/Control Panel/Alpha Yoke/Settings I can press ny (other) button and the associated button lights up on the screen. There is no responses on the settings screen when I press any of buttons 5 - 11. Below is the MSFS control settings screen showing these buttons assifgnment.

OMG is my face red. When I pressed down on any of these 4 switches nothing happened. I thought I was toggling them. Just by accident I found I was not pressing the switches far enough to the top/bottom/side. Once I figure out my mistake all switches work properly. Soooo embarassing.

LOL, you wouldn’t guess how often I have just sent a support ticket or a forum post and just at that moment I realized what I was doing wrong… There is so much to consider in the flight sim hobby, don’t worry, these things happen

 Glad you got it worked out! I’ve had my share of errors on my end too…

The great thing about sim pilots in contrast to pilots IRL is that we ALWAYS live to discuss our mistakes. :grinning:
