Should be said that it is also only for the Microsoft Store version, not the Steam version of MSFS.

Does the beta log hours or while in beta hours are not logged?

This isn’t a hotfix. It’s a beta version for testers. The “patch”, which this is the beta to test, will likely be out in a week or so.
