Hotkey to toggle the instrument HUD in the cockpit view

Please make a shortcut to hide and show the HUD both in cockpit nd external view. It is annoying to pause the game, go to setting and activate and deactivate it.

I find sometinmes usefull to have them, especially TO and Land…but then for realism I would love to remove them…

FYI, there is an existing wish for external view:

There are also a couple of bindings for the HUD in 2024:

but neither do anything on my PC with SU1 beta build v1.3.13.0, so I don’t know which view(s) they were meant for.

I’ve moved your topic into the wishlist category & changed the title to reflect that this wish is now just for cockpit view, as duplicate wishes are not allowed. Feel free to vote & comment on the need for the external view toggle in the topic I linked above.

I wouldn’t hold my breath. They haven’t even managed to fix the existing hotkey for headphones simulation in years.

SO sad we have few support on this. I think it’s an easy fix and a very usefull one

Yes it would be an easy fix. But Asobo/ Microsoft does not care enough like we all do. They could care less.

In time I have bought many peripherilas. Now I have a third long screen where I put my glass instrument and I can monitor many things without the HUD but when I starder I was on Xboix (not PC) and I rellay needed the HUD, but also I wanted it remove quickly for screenshots.

I still think it may be usefull feature. Keep on pushing guys
