Is there a HOST START forum here?
Wanting to know it the incredibly realistic business jet Challenger 650 will ever be added to MSFS2020?
Heck I would be happy with the same level of accuracy in Longitude and in the G5000.
Thanks

I don’t think it’s likely that we will have the Hot Start C650 in MSFS. Surely not in the short term, unless they had been secretely working on it for a very long time.
It took them three years to develop the Challenger 650, and then several additional months to upgrade it from XP11 to XP12. Their TBM900 is not yet ready for XP12.
Thank you.
To add to this - unless something has changed in recent months the Hotstart dev was very blunt about not doing any work for MSFS. So you can probably hangup their products coming over soon, if ever. Too bad too - their TBM and the 650 were brillant I loved flying them in XP11.
One of the HotStart devs has been openly hostile to MSFS, sharing daft (almost certainly fake) emails about Asobo plagiarizing XPlane, and suspecting they plagiarized his TBM work as well.
Wow that’s too bad to hear. The Asobo TBM isn’t remotely on the same level - so odd they would take that approach. I also find it odd when devs swear allegiance to a platform like that. Everyone’s loss I suppose.
I still fly both sims, and there are quite a few planes is XP, that are so much better flying than anything I’ve flown so far in FS. I don’t think vendors like Hot Start, TOGA, Torque Sim, etc, can create that level of realism, (flight characteristics), in FS yet. Maybe FS24 will allow that? I’m not sure Asobo understands the difference.
The HotStart Challenger 650 is pretty special. It’s the only reason I have XP12 installed.
Along with the TOGA MU2 and the very long awaited Citation from Torque Sim. Those three planes keep me flying XP12, (anticipating the Citation will be up to their standards).
Same with me!
The challenger series is my favorite line of biz jets. Im hoping for a 300 or 350
If it’s coded using Gizmo, I’m wondering if they simply can’t port it over for technical reasons. I don’t know much about it, but it seems like a mildly intrusive bit of software which I can imagine MS not allowing access to….?
I don’t know exactly what it is and it’ll probably not work on the XBox, but PC should be possible. Fenix A320 uses an external process to run most of the systems. A2A uses an external process for everything including the flight model (as far as I understand). The sim is just used for visuals.
Isn’t it a bit more intrusive than that? Like it has DRM ? Also I’m wondering if they’re under contract to the X-Aviation website? I think the gizmo dev and X-Aviation owner are very tight.
Hotstart Challenger 650 in MSFS yeah you can forget about that ever happening they are Pro XP and don’t care much for MS even if it were possible to port their addons over and make a bunch of money off MS users they simply don’t care as their interactions on various other forums indicate this.
Same here. It’s an amazing plane.
