Greeting,
I have seen on social media screen shots of inside cockpits of the A320 (unsure of its FBW or Fenix). But I can see terrain displayed on the MD screen but when I go in the sim the Terrian display button says “INOP” assuming it’s not a useable feature.
I messaged the social media accounts asking how they got it but no response.
I use the FBW A320 developmental version and the button says “turn on Terrian Display ND” but nothing happens when I click it
Is there a third party add on for this feature??
Appreciate any advice.
Since we build our own systems (ND, etc.) we do not have terrain or weather radar on the A32NX, since MSFS does not give any data yet. We are working on a solution.

Thank you for the reply! I figured it was maybe that, happy to hear there may a solution in the future!!
Thanks for all the work you all do!
There is already a work-around solution, and an official API is coming soon in SU10 luckily. So it’ll be up to the FBW team.

What is the work around solution??
It seems to be available in experimental version with SimBridge, right?
Question: is it only coming to stable/dev after SU10?
The terrain map should work currently absolut flawless in both the FlyByWire and the Fenix
with this Terrain on ND button left of the ISIS.
But you have to fly lower to see the terrain rendered, I think only mountain tips are rendered to 5000 feet below the Airbus. Stuff that is 2000 feet below the Airbus is rendered green, and 500 feet and closer is yellow and red.
(But I am not sure with these numbers I heard this explaination about the terrain height map colour coding only once in my life in some video and forgot to write all the details down.)
Our terrain in exp version is independent of the MSFS data. That’s why you have to use SimBridge to make it working. It will come to development version at some tiime and also to stable (at some time much later).

Ah SimBridge - clever! Extern solutions are always so much better and can be enhanced endless… that´s program code really living up to it´s name in a natural habitat without living in the ultrastrict limitations of the sim
