Dear all, i just tried to land my Fenix A319 in la paz bolivia (SLLP) but around 19.000 feet in the descent i got a cabin altitude warning (flicking red in the icam). I ended up ignoring this warning and the plae landed ok, so it did not affected the performance as such. But is there a way to clear this warning? or Fenix would need to create an specific A319 for high altitude operations?
There should be a button for high altitude landing somewhere in the overhead panel. Left side I believe. Try that
oh yes i just saw it, its covered with a red cap. So in which state shall i press this? once i start my descent? its not needed for taking off right?
I am not sure about the real SOP. I would press it before descent, but that could be wrong.
