How can i turn on the runway lights at daytime?

Hey there, fellow MSFS 2024 enthusiasts! I’ve noticed a rather odd issue in the game. During the daytime, the lights at the airports remain off, which seems quite unrealistic. In real - life, airport lights are an essential part of the visual and navigational aids, even during the day.

This not only affects the immersive experience but also might cause some confusion for players who rely on these visual cues for landing and take - off. I sincerely hope that the development team could take a look into this matter. It would be great if this could be fixed so that the airport lighting behaves more realistically. Another option could be adding a toggle switch in the game settings, allowing players to choose whether the lights are on or off during the day according to their preferences.

Thank you for your attention, and I’m looking forward to seeing improvements in this aspect.

Huh? During the day unless the airport is IFR, LIFR, or (maybe) MVFR the lights aren’t going to be on unless you ask for them to be turned on from the tower. Some airports have PCL which allow you to turn them on yourself by clicking your PTT a number of times (something you can’t do in MSFS 2024).

There is no such option into the sim. Good comments from @Maki152, see also related topics:
Runway Lights Brightness Low Visibility
Runway, Approach, Apron Lights Off During VFR Conditions/Daylight Hours
No Airport lights at all during IFR conditions at daytime

Moved to User Support Hub as the feature requested is not a bug in the SU1 Beta.
