So as you can see I’m in mfs2020 trying to get into a flight, and there is no aircraft, weather or fly buttons to change anything, or even fly. Any thoughts on what to do? Yes I’m on 3 monitors, but still the same thing when I’m on 1.
Have you tried repairing MSFS? Go into the app settings where you’ll see “repair”, “reset”… uninstall…etc
I’d try the repair option first, then maybe reset if that doesn’t work.

Could you have the resolution set incorrectly for your main monitor? Or, the monitor that has MSFS on it?
The header/footer may be there, and you set the monitor resolution in Nvidia control wrong, or maybe the resolution is wrong under Options, Graphics?
All the resolutions are the same in Nvidia, and the game, as far as repair, reset and uninstall options… done repair and reset yesterday for like 3 hours and that’s what I ended up with. Not really looking forward to uninstall option, and another 3-4 hours of it just sitting there, but if all else fails I guess that’ll be my only option I have left. One thing I can say is that the simulation was running awesome until I downloaded sofly weather app from orbx and then things started going to h.@*l, I uninstalled sofly and still doing the same thing. Thought?
Sounds like the weather app then? I know it’s a pain but I i was you I’d uninstall MSFS, making sure there are no traces of it left, then reinstall.
By the way, I also run three screens. Never had this issue though.

If it was me: I would wait until tomorrow to see if we get more insights from others. Uninstall/reinstall may yield the same results…
Consider contacting: sofly weather app from orbx about the issue it caused for MSDS. I bet it has updated a .json, .cfg, or .xml file and that is your issue.
well decided to uninstall and then reinstall game and sofly weather ap. running great once again. took 5 hours again to do all that, hope that don’t happen again anytime soon.
thanks for advise…
Try setting your resolution to 3480x1080 instead of 960 you maybe cutting off your fly button if you monitors are 1080
