To use the cable you must deactivate Air Link on the lens from CONFIGURATION - EXPERIMENTAL FUNCTIONS.
Thanks again. To be honest I am finding it easy enough to use with Airlink on its own. The graphics need a bit of tweaking to get it to suit me but I will do that over the next few weeks. The main thing is that I can actually use the sim.
One thing I did notice immediately on my first circuit was that landing is much easier in VR than in 2d. You get a much better and easier to judge perspective with VR. But VR will take a bit of adjusting to. So I will take it easy for a while and limit my use of it.
I prefer using Airlink over the offical cable I do have a Wifi 6 router tho..I find it preforms a lot better
I never did get the cable to work. But as the Airlink is perfectly alright I see no reason to try and get the cable sorted.
I am still experimenting with the sim in VR mode and have yet to get the settings as I want them. One odd thing that I have noticed is that when I fly the Cub I get a slight dizzy feeling whereas flying the Stearman does not cause it. The impression I get is that the propellor is more visible on the Cub and could be the cause
