How do I put in a flight plan with the King Air

I tired the King Air 350 and see the keypad on entering a flight plan, but it seems still disabled. Is it not possible to key in a flight plan in the MFD. 40 years ago a working King Air was in MS flight sim. I would think by now this one would be fully working. The auto feature switch does not seem to do anything as well. Did someone make a 3rd Party King Air that fully works.

black square has made a very nice job on with this add-on, but you will don’t have access to a MFD as it use the gtn750 and / or gns530

Good to know. Milviz 350 for p3d is amazing. I was hoping blackbrid would have come out with one. I will look at these you posted. Thanks

I thought you could enter a flight plan via the Garmin touchscreen PFD ?

Use JayDee’s GTN750 on Others Mod - it let’s you put the PMS 750 freeware in place of the G3X MFD. While it doesn’t enable the VC keypad, it has it’s own touchscreen keys where you need it - like entering a flight plan.

I will look again but didn’t see that being possible

I have that 750 payware. I use it in the C310. I may try a 3rd party version

Jaydee’s mod will work with the PMS750 - it won’t care what license you have, free or paid. If it’s present in your Community folder, it will put it in the cockpit.

You certainly can.

I will look again, Thanks.

I am looking at the Textron King Air 350. Clicking on the PFD is not showing anywhere to put in a flight plan. The keypad between the seats is clear that is how it is put in, but they are disabled with the mouse. It there another King Air I am not seeing

Try the Menu button on the bezel frame around the MFD, on the bottom.

Thank you very much, this aircraft is exactly what I was looking for. Interesting flying the same type of plane in the 1990’s on FS 4 I think it was. They even have support for the PNS 750 I have so I may or may not add that. I setup my camera views and did a perfect ILS approach into KSNA
