This isn’t available on the Xbox version. Only the stock CJ4 which has limited capability but can do IFR routing.
Just did it myself! Even after a year I’m still learning things about this Sim.

Strange that that is all that ASOBO has been telling us is that there is no difference between PC and XBOX.
As in stock sim, not modded.

Of course they can but flexibility wise PC is just a whole lot better, if you want to compare apples to apples then you really have to do it stock. I would not recommend a person who is inquiring about weather to get MSFS on the Xbox or PC to get it on Xbox if they wish to get into the addon scene. Again, Xbox can do addons but it will never be near that of PC and this will really show in a few years. I really don’t see many (if any) Xbox exclusive mods / addons, however there will be loads of PC exclusive mods / addons.

PC users aren’t stuck to a marketplace, many third-party developers don’t even choose to sell on the marketplace. Furthermore there are a number of addons out there that exist for other sims that will inevitably come to MSFS and I highly doubt that some of them will be available on the Xbox.
Anywho this is getting off topic. Just know that when Asobo made such a comment they were not implying that Xbox would be a replacement to a PC. There are very good reasons to get MSFS on a PC, especially in the area of addons / mods where PC reigns supreme.

Where exactly are you confused then and / or see contradiction? Stock features in the PC version not on Xbox yet?
