Greetings,
I know this will probably be a silly question and I’m sure it’s simple. But I am missing something and can’t find any clear answer online.
As the title reads, prior to take off I run through my Take off checklist, arm spoilers, ect.
I get everything green but the T. O CONFIG TEST. How do I test that? I know it doesn’t keep me from taking off but for realism sake I’d love to get it checked off.
I read something it has to do with flaps? I had my flaps set but they were set prior to lining up at on the runway. Is there a test button somewhere?
Appreciate any help. Also, it’s probably known, but I’m using the development version of the FBW A320.
Sorry I’m not quite clear did you actually press the takeoff config test button that’s on the panel above the throttle?

I did not… annnnnd I think you just answered my question. I was looking where that button was so I could press it prior to take off. THANK YOU!
Also, once everything is checked through the take off checklist will the captain announce “flight attendants please prepare for take off”?
I never hear them say that but I believe it was because I was missing steps in the check off list for take off.

I haven’t flown the FBW in a few weeks, but I think the pilot call out will happen (I recall also pressing the overhead call button).
Not flying the FBW nowadays, but something that i use to love was the camera and the printer!
Check those out if you havent yet.
It has to be both, The T.O CONFIG test must be pressed and the overhead call button too. So if you press the overhead first but not the T.O CONFIG test button, the callout won’t happen. Similarly when you press the T.O CONFIG test button first without the overhead call button, the call won’t happen either.
Only when both buttons have been pressed the pilot will call it out. So the pilot will call out after whichever button is pressed last.

Thank you!!! So make sure I press the TO CONFIG button then overhead call button and he should call out!!
I use the FS2Crew app to have my copilot helping me out with her flows and procedures. She always press the button and the callout automatically after pushback and engine start.
If you done all things, the call out will be triggered when turning the landing lights on (when entering the runway).
