Cockpit lights, how do I turn them off? They glare up the main screen. It’s not the flashlight.

That is the Flashlight which I believe is ALT+F to toggle on/off.
Flash light can be set to auto also. Default setting is auto

No, that is not the flashlight, it’s a static light. That light was still there when I turned on and off the flashlight to check it was the flashlight.
There are 2 dome lights on the roof when you look straight up, with a knob to turn each one down. But this looks more like the flashlight beam to me too. The dome lights are more of a flood light.
I have the same question. How do I turn off the static light. It is not the flash light and none of the cabin lights seem to be on. It is the DIAMOND DA40. Please help!

It’s 100% not an aircraft light or flashlight, I’m trying to disable it also, i’m in the 172 and it will not go away even when aircraft completely shut down. Never should have been like this in the first place though. Please advise.
The light is terrible. Especially when your viewing the northern lights

I managed to get it turned off.
I went into both the “lights” menu area & also typed “lights” into the search button. I then removed everything that had buttons marked for any type of light, and it worked. I’m pretty sure it was in the main menu “lights” section where I found light buttons that were assigned to keys (which I never did, they were just there), but anyway, yea, that worked for me, hope you guys get same result.
Yes, thats exaclty what I had, I finally removed it.
And that was the flashlight!
