Turning off Aircraft Traffic Type also disables ships and vehicles. Not sure about fauna. So you can leave it on if you wish.
Turning off Traffic Airport Quality removes the majority of airport service vehicles. I have to set it to at least medium for airport service vehicles to show up. But…then that introduces a bunch of static aircraft.
I hope they redo these settings and separate them like they were in FS2020. There is a thread about this and the more people that vote the better chance it will get attention.
