The flight starts in walk around mode, how do I enter the cockpit?
I’m walking outside the ATR… Can’t enter the cockpit
Found it: SHIFT - C.
Thank you!
They just missed to make this more obvious…
Any way to start straight into the cockpit or one always has to start on free look/walk around mode?
Thanks and rgds
Want to know too !
That is something I would like to know as well!
Thanks, how did you find it??
If you take the introduction flight in Career mode, the basic controls, including getting into the plane, are explained.
Google, and then I found it somewhere on the forums ![]()
Thanks again
I’m trying to use Shift+C on any airplane, no luck. I can’t even find the keyboard binding on the settings. The only way I found to enter the cockpit is to click on the door, but… From the ground, to click on an Airbus 320 door 2,5 meters up with no stairs… it’s a bit silly. Good bye immersion.
For me the same ShiftC is not working
Moved to User Support Hub
How can they make this the default?
I couldn’t care less about a useless simulated walkaround.
If you want to make this simulator realistic start by fixing ATC.
Unfortunately, this does not seem to work everywhere. Could it be related to the language of the keyboard? I’m not using US Keyboard layout (even if I use the simulator in English). I’m starting to suspect that shift-c work only if you keep the new, totally counterintuitive mapping Asobo forced on us changing EVERY key from 2020. As to why they did it, it misses me.
Does Shift+C work with Third Party aircraft? There is no click spot on their doors.
Search in the keyboard controls for “take control of character” (or something to that effect, I’m not at the PC to check at the moment). That is what the SHIFT+C key bind is supposed to default to for getting in and out of the aircraft. When you find that, you should see what the key bind is set to and change it if you want.
Thank you so much, that was what I was looking for. It worked!
Does anyone know how to get to the cabin in 737?
