Departure from… arrival to, what does this mean?
Just like if you were at the airport.
You selected an airport, and at the bottom of its information page you selected Live Airport Activity at that airport. So, you’re looking at the live airport activtity, planes arriving and planes leaving and what time they are expected to do so…
The point being, you could select any one of those flights, and create a flight plan from it and fly the route…
Now the real question is, how do we get all that traffic to ACTUALLY show up in the sim?..
Itll get there…to a point. Its a big ask to expect in sim atc to track all the flights and be able to route sim traffic into that system. If all the flights irl were in the sim, we’d never be able to land at major airports.
But it makes no sense. Lets assume that the screenshot is from KJFK. On the DEPATURES side shouldn’t ALL flights show FROM KJFK, and on the ARRIVALS side shouldn’t ALL the flights show TO KJFK?
The froms and tos are all over the place.
When I look at airport arrival/departure information board , it’s always arrival from, meaning the the flights are coming in from xxxx, and departure to meaning the flights leaving for xxxx, I just can’t make out the other way around: Arrival To and Departure From…
Exactly. I think Assabo got it bacwards.
Seems like it should be a ZenDesk ticket.
It could be that some flights are making stopovers and KJFK (in this example) isn’t their final destination.
They should flip side from to cause now doesn’t make sense any way very small bug i hope they put more efforts on ai traffic cause airports on the sim looks dead with such a low traffic even when you can see on real life in flightaware or flight radar 24 that the airport have much more traffic that show on sim
Partial true but… since you can simply fly through other panes and vehicles, you will cause no damage.
It’s not how it should work of course…
On top of it all: Information as shown in the sim has a delay and therefore is never ‘real’
