How does the constant downloading and rewriting of files affect the life of our ssd´s?

as per topic…wonder if this will have any impact

I made provisioning as recommended by the maker (Samsung Magician) and put temp, download, etc on an old classic disk… Each time I unzip, or do some file operation I try to execute it on this classic disk…

My “old” SSD (december 2017) are in good shape (used with X-Plane, FSX, P3D V4.5, Visual Studio, Photoshop, Magix, etc). So I don’t feel anxious with that question

I wonder that, too. And I would like to hear advice on how we can reduce the burden. Because I’ve noticed very high increase in the SSD writes since I started with the FS Alpha.

just buy a new 1tb SSD for MSFS, Kingston A400 SSD on amazon £80 that is what i have done
