How many of you guys are real pilots?

PPL in 1991 with about 200 hrs and some IFR training. Instead of launching a flying career I got into software development during the infamous dotcom boom. I haven’t flown a real plane since the mid-90s, but I’ve never been unemployed!

Doesn’t everyone have one of those? I brought an extra to change into.

Yea… so much fun! The last lesson prior to solo my CFI told me, “Wear an old shirt for your solo.” He had to explain why.

I use HONEYCOMB ALPHA FLIGHT CONTROLS - YOKE AND SWITCH PANEL and the Bravo Throttle Quadrant. For Rudder Pedals I use the THRUSTMASTER TPR PEDALS.

Dang…Can’t say as I’ve ever met a person with that many hours, a commercial ticket and CFI that wasn’t multi-engine rated.

You must spend your time pulling gliders. I could see that racking up a bunch of SEL time.

Looking for a Bravo Throttle Quadrant. Where did you get yours?

I feel your pain. SubLogic on the C-64, then the Amiga when they released that version. It was OK on the Amiga, the 64 was a real test of my patience.

Ha! Exactly…I can’t believe how fast time has gone. I still remember Flight Assignment-ATP as well. I thought that was the coolest thing back then.

As bad and :cheese: as they were, i loved those movies :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

Looks like i got something to watch and fill out the 4 day wknd

Sorry mate, but some people already have their Bravos, so I wouldn’t just assume he’s making that up. I got mine on Wednesday.

Just saying…

Congrats on getting your Bravo Throttle. I could only go by what the company has published and my seller has told me.

Are you based in the US? At any rate, really looking forward to receiving mine soon. BTW, nice setup.

No, I’m in SE Asia, so minimal shipping required. I have heard of some US retailers already having them in stock, though it’s definitely not common.

I am, well temporarily was a pilot…waiting for my callback, but a glorious 12 year career so far leading to a Captain A310 position. Was in the start of my initial A330 training prior to the pandemic. Thankfully the A320NEO can be a bridge to the current reality of things…when it works :rofl::rofl:
