Hi there, I was wondering how much time do you guys spend on flying the Sim? Any info is greatly appreciated. TIA
I usually spend a couple of hours a day flying on my XSX.
99% of my flights are less than an hour, and I try to make time to use the sim two or three times a week.
On days I work, a short 1 hour flight if I’m not too tired. Weekends, 5hr medium hauls. I fly about 3 times a week. Xbox Series X here.
i would say i spend the majority of my time in group flights, which are about 4 hours, and i tend to do about 2 a week
Way too much…
Not enough…
Up to 6hours a day, 7 days a week
It’s so mich fun to fly arround the World with so man different aircraft
LOL! You are paid somehow?
I usually only have a few hours to fly on the weekends. If my brain isn’t too tired, I’ll occasionally do a short flight after work.
What? I can’t hear over the ringing in my ears from all these engines! LOL! Once in the morning, and once at night, usually. Around 40 mins per flight, usually.
Not nearly enough. :).
Typically 1/2 hour to an hour, but I might do multiple shorter flights or training in that block as well.
2000+ hours so far, but a good chunk of that was also addon development/testing.
However, I just installed Starfield EA and am headed for the ship builder, so…
I spend more time on the forum than flying - what is wrong with me…
Lately though whenever I think to take a short flight - or find the time for it - I end up bumping my head on something. Either the sim acts up - stuttering or random ATC failures or terrain popping issues - or the aircraft I select has some issue that hasn’t been patched yet or that has been introduced to it by a recent Sim Update - and I find the experience somewhat less than I had hoped or even expected. So when I do fly it’s usually only one flight that day - a shorty GA flight with as little demand as possible on the sim to try to mitigate the chance for a problem. To ‘get in and get out’ of MSFS before it can disappoint me. Fortunately the weather has been great and the beach is very nice this summer.
I know that feeling when you maybe just have an hour in the evening and then something just doesn’t work and you waste all that time getting nowhere. Those are the lows.
For me 10 hours is a good week, 2 hours is a bad week. Semi regular but short on week nights, irregular but longer at weekends, depends on everything else that’s going on in life at the time.
That’s total time spent, actual wheels up flying is probably half of that according to the pilot hours meter.
About 2-3 hours a day after work. On the weekends maybe 5 hours a day.
Weekdays usually only around an hour with GA aircraft. Airliners at the weekend so anything from 2 to 4 hours typically.
No hours since two months. I just follow the forum, install the updates and hope for fixes that will probably only arrive with MSFS 2024. Sim Update 13 doesn’t look like I’m going to change anything. I’ll wait for the delivery of my Honeycomb Charlie rudder pedals. By the time, SU15 will be out and I might be curious again.
Hi,
I try to play several hours per day provided it does not CTD.
Sometimes it works just great, many times not.
I personally fly around 3-5 hrs. Being retired now and every day, new destination , & diff. plane , I’d like to log more. I’m just short of my 100 hr. Mark.. Happy flying to ya , iftheres anything I can help with more than honored too..
