How switch on PC-12 avionics?

Please add the msfs-2020 or msfs-2024 tag to your post, depending on which sim your post is about.

I feel stupid but I’ve been unable to switch on the PC-12 avionics. PFD and MFD show big red crosses and cannot be switched on. I’ve followed the pre-start procedures in the EFB, battery is on, ext pwr is on, avionics bus is on.

Takes about 8 seconds for panels on after av1 is set on.

Checklist is missing this.

Well, the correct procedure is:

  • During preflight cockpit inspection: Check that BAT 1, BAT 2 and STBY bus are OFF and AV 2 bus, cabin bus, AV 1 bus, Gen 1, and Gen 2 are ON
  • . . .

then before starting the engine

  • . . .
  • STBY bus switch to ON (wait until MFD powers up (30 secs in the real plane) prior to switching batteries on)
  • BAT 1 and BAT 2 switches to ON
  • . . .

Thank you to both. Now it is on. But I cannot understand the reason of an incomplete checklist that leads you to a total loss of time. Make a good checklist or don’t make it at all, but don’t make a mess.
