How to abort an "In Progress" install?

I am reinstalling MSFS on my second computer but it appears to be stuck in a loop at about 50%. Is there a recommended way to cancel a partial install? Thanks

just close it down, restart your computer, and it will carry on where it was left hopefully.
else find one of these threads with solution for this loop problem,

You will have to look it up but if i remember rightly if it gets stuck in the loop you stop the installation and have to go delete the last downloaded file to get it to get past that point.

Would definitely check to see if that is the case, not had to do it myself so far so could have got it wrong.
