How to add MSFS 2024 to Nvidia App

Tried to add MSFS 2024 to the new NVidia App, while running it as administrator. Got the message below:

.

I was able to add MSFS 2020 a while back without issue.

Go into add and recently use and point it to that

That’s the old Nvidia control panel, not the new Nvidia app. I’ve not found it possible to add to the Nvidia app so far

Found on an french forum:

deinstall and reinstall nVidia App. Then actualize game list.
(don’t forget to add the MSFS24 installation path in the search list)

I can second UnceasingMango2 on that. Yesterday, I used DDU to completely reinstall the drivers fresh and re-install Nvidia app thereafter and finally managed to have the sim listed there.

Hi,

For those of you that have managed to install and working NVIDIA app.

Do the filters work?

I have horrible graphics without the filters.

Thank you

Would like to know too ! Thanks.

Hi,

The filters don’t work yet in NVIDIA app nor GeForce Experience (I have the latter installed, and they are not working). We’ll have to wait, probably until the next Nvidia driver update.

Greetings

I hope soon, thanks.

Did that great job thanks

Apparently someone did it here. But how??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RQtfg9nrqw

Can’t be. This path does not contain exe.

Hi,

Yes, I saw the video a few days ago. It’s GeForce Experience, not Nvidia app. It just has got two filters (I don’t know how he managed to get them working!).

No HRD, for instance.

Now I could tweak some of my graphic issues by adjusting the contrast, vibrancy and gamma with Nvidia Control Panel.

The problem is that those settings affect all Windows (if you work editing photography, for example, is complicated!).

So… it’s a temporary half solution.

Cheers

Can we just get someone to provide a step by step procedure on how to add MSFS 2024 to the Nvidia APP. The example that @Tatsukoa808 gave is not helpful at least to me.

Uninstall the app and reinstall the app and it should appear in the list.

I installed it and looks like I am missing a driver. When it comes up, says hit ALT Z and you will get a companion but I do not see it.

Old One: installing:

I seem to have survived, now what did it do for my settings?

It fixed the overlay, now works, not sure it adds anything to the DEV FPS info.

You need to install and reinstall Nvidia App and you will get a New Version 11.0.1.184
