How to adjust pitch trim using Xbox controller

How do you adjust the pitch trim using an Xbox controller on the default mapping?

I brought up the controller mappings mid-flight and it showed something like right-stick with four arrows around it. I am not sure what that means as using the right stick changes the view. Pushing it down resets the view.

That is actually set to a combination of RB+Right stick up or down, very slight input of the stick actually

Thanks. I got it working for the Cessna. It seemed to have no effect on the A320 Neo though!

Make sure your auto trim assist is disabled.

Try to adjust trim in the A320 with the controller and look at the trim wheel in the cockpit to see if it’s moving.

Are the assist options set per aircraft? I set the assist options to hard for the C152. I didn’t check them when I changed aircraft to the A320. That was the first time that I tried the A320. I noticed the engine spooling up and down at various times and ATC was active.

I’ll need to check later today if the assist options are set per plane.

I am having troubling adjusting trim on Cessna 152

RB and right stick up and down does not work

Do you hold down RB and at the same time use right stick up or down ?

Yes, you hold RB and keep it held whilst moving the Right stick up or down.

Thanks for the info. I will try this when I next play the game. If I have any problems I will let you know

Along with above, (which works really well here), has anyone tried assigning RB + Right stick left / right to rudder trim?

It just seems to go haywire here.

Regarding the trim - if RB and the right stick does not work on the Cessna 152 - it could be that auto trim assist is enabled

Does anyone know where the auto trim assist option is located - so I can disable it - and then check to see that RB + right stick manually changes the trim ?

Hi,
Any idea where that is located? I cant find anything spcific to trim.
Thanks

You don’t adjust trim in the A320, it’s all done by the automation.
