How to calibrate thrustmaster hotas4?

Hi, i don have any way to calibrate the yoke. I have the thrustmaster aplication to se how ir works, but there is no way to calibrate it
From windows it connects with the thrustmaster aplication
Any idea?

You shouldn’t have to calibrate it.
The closest thing is the sensitivity section and may be wheat you’re looking for. There you set the responsiveness of your stick and throttle.
If you experience pull to the right or other direction during different parts of flight, it does not usually mean the stick is out of calibration. It’s often the sim correctly pulling or pushing similar to the real thing.

Try going to the start menu and seaching for “Set up USB game controllers”, select it in the list and click properties. You should be able to calibrate it on the “Settings” tab.

Hi, when i do that the thrustmaster aplication open, but there is not any way to calibrate

The problem is that there id a erratic movement when i pull the yoke

Define erratic?
That can be a few things including stall.

That happen also with the plane in the ground and also in the yoke axes
Is that you move the yoke and it moves in some areas uo and down

The Thrustamster software does not have a calibration option, it just shows you that the various axes and buttons are responding.

It’s a useless piece of software. It also removes the option of going to the Windows joy.cpl where you can calibrate it.
You need to uninstall the Thrustmaster software, restart your PC and then you can calibrate it in the Windows joy.cpl app.

I had an Hotas X and this worked fine for me. I even contacted Thrustmaster about the issue and they responded saying they would look into it.

Have now moved on to a Honeycomb Alpha, which if you can get one or can afford it, I would highly recommend.

The yoke works without the theustmaster software?

You get the drivers installed when you plug it in, it needs those, but the software that comes with it is useless and removes the option to calibrate.
Remove it then calibrate in Windows it will work fine.

…or just type “joy.cpl” into Windows search bar.

Yes that’s how you get into the windows calibration app but if you have the thrustmaster software installed it stops that from working.

After the last update 1.11.7.0
I calibrated in Windows but ever since the last update I have this and I can’t get rid of the offset. .jstick
It also jumps around alot

If it “jumps around” you likely need to add some to the deadzone until it stops moving. I’m on the Hotas X which is basically the same and I’m facing the same problems. Thing is, it’s just fine in the Windows tool but not at all in the sim. Only rudder axis is affected, though.

Doesn’t the white dot move with the “neutral” slider?

Have you managed to centre joystick?
