How to change the size of the HUD in external view

Hi everyone,
I installed the Flight Simulator for my father who has problems to read (small) text on a screen. So when playing in the external view he cannot read the HUD/ the information regarding airspeed, altitude and so on, despite playing on a really large screen.
So for I wasn’t able to figure how to increase the size of it.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to increase the size and if it is, how to do it.

I have the same problem Hopefully they’ll fix this soon

Try my mod. I have changed size to 60%, but you can set it smaller.
