How to disable 'console' game mode when playing on PC

I purchased the MSFS2024 PC game through Steam and all of the game’s UI is designed to be played with a console. How can I change the UI such that it’s appropriate for a PC user?

The entire layout is WAY to large for a 3440x1600 resolution screen with so much wasted space. I’m not playing a TV from 15 feet away. I’m sitting 3 feet in front of a high resolution monitor.

Its so bad that I can only choose between 6 planes on my screen at a time and the rest of the screen is completely wasted space. (again, appropriate for a TV screen due to its terrible scaling, but I’m on a PC, not a HTPC system)

Is there a UI scale option that can be changed to make it more appropriate for a high-end gaming PC?

Additionally, the mouse over text boxes in the cockpit are obscuring the rest of the dashboard. Some aspects are appropriate (such as the terminal text through the windshield, but the in cockpit text box is terrible.

Is there a way to get the PC designed version of this game?

I feel like I’m in the Fisher Price version of this game.

Can’t do anything about the new UI unfortunately, hopefully future updates bring in a scaling option because the only thing that can be changed is the text size and that doesn’t go below 18. As for the tool tips, if you wish to disable them completely, go into Settings>Flight Interface>Scroll down to ‘Cockpit Camera’ and disable ‘Instrument Name Tooltips’ & ‘Instrument Description Tooltips’.

Hope this helps.
