So 2024 is streaming stuff i dont want from 2020 that i had removed or doesnt work in 2024. Example latin vfr kfll airport shows no buildings. Latin vfr static aircraft i dont use anymore. Those 2 items were messing up 2024 which has enough issues already… . So just go to your 2020 comunity folder and place the items you dont want in the 2024 official community folder. when you restart sim those items wont be streamed it will say not installed. It works. U can do this till marketplace opens.
Hi @GoGumpGo ,
Thank you for this report. We’ve moved your topic into the User Support Hub.
The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.
If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.
All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
I have the same issue, Latin vfr static aircraft i dont use anymore. And now that add-on fills all airports with static aircraft, very ennoying!
That’s currently impossible until the marketplace is opened.
I posted the fix until marketplace opens look for my other posts.
I posted fix in another post it will remove them
Can’t say I’m a fan of this transfering of 2020 content without an official way to disable them, , I’ve had to search for a way to get them from streaming into my copy of 2024 as some of them have caused major performance problems for me in 2020 and I left them uninstalled for a reason.
It’s a bit of a prosumption to think that we all wanted all this content straight away into 2024, especially considering that to report bugs we must at first have a vanilla install. This action has effectively negated bug reporting as some of my 2020 content has caused issues from the get go in 2024 already.
I’m liking a lot about this new version, but there is a lot to dislike too, I can understand the frustrations of all that are speaking up, some decisions much like this transferring of content seems a little rushed.
As part of the patch planned for the week of Dec 9th, we will add the ability for users to disable/enable content on their own. We will also add a safe boot option to deactivate 3rd party content in case of a crash when booting up the simulator.
